Latest Hindi Movies on OTT; There are a lot of high-profile releases.
We’ve officially entered the holiday season. And, in keeping with the occasion, OTT platforms are gearing up with a slew of high-profile releases, many of which are exclusive to the platform.
Sure, there are some fascinating theatre releases, but the dread of the new Covid-19 virus version (Omicron) is keeping many people at home.
We have another all-film selection for our weekly recommendation, as we did last week. In Malayalam, we have Salman Khan’s Antim, Dhanush and Akshay Kumar’s Atrangi Re, Tovino Thomas’ Minnal Murali, Joju George’s Madhuram, and the time-loop entertainer Maanaadu. In Tamil, we have the time-loop entertainer Maanaadu. Satyameva Jayate, starring John Abraham, is another option.

Dhanush made his Hindi film debut with Raanjhanaa, directed by Anand L Rai and featuring music by A R Rahman. With its raw intensity and emotion, Raanjhanaa managed to impress the crowd. The trio is back in action thanks to Atrangi Re. There’s also the vivacious Akshay Kumar for good measure. Sara Ali Khan plays the lead, and based on the trailers, the tale centers around her, as she appears to be entangled in a sweet love triangle. It’s as old as the hills as a cinematic cliche. However, the way you’re treated and the circumstances you’re in make all the difference.
The film’s music, composed by A R Rahman, is another talking point. The man, whose recent releases failed to make an impression, comes back with a boom. The album contains seven songs, all of which have become chart-topping hits. The popularity of Chaka Chak on YouTube is skyrocketing. Rait Zara Si is just as good.
Atrangi Re offers a lot in terms of color, melody, and a strong cast.
ANTIM: THE FINAL TRUTH
We all have different perspectives on Salman Khan’s films. However, its extravagant attitude fits very well with the energy and thrill of festival occasions. This movie should be no exception. Antim: The Final Truth is a remake of Mulshi Pattern, a Marathi film.
The story follows a gangster’s encounters with a tough cop. It’s a story that’s been told in a thousand Indian movies before. The unique aspect of this video is that it examines the harsh conditions that farmers experience, which force some of them to commit crimes. Is there room in a Salman Khan film to explore complexity and subtleties? They do, at least in passing. That was evident in Bajrangi Baijaan, for example. So don’t give up.
This is the story of an average man who becomes a superhero after being struck by lightning and given exceptional abilities. Malayalam filmmakers aren’t very fond of it as a genre. Tovino Thomas, on the other hand, would be ideal for such a film due to his humorous acting and desire for action sequences. He portrays a tailor who receives exceptional abilities after being struck by lightning, but he must defeat an unexpected adversary.
“I’ve been attached and committed to the role of Minnal Murali from the very beginning,” Tovino Thomas stated. I devoted all of my time communicating with my director to guarantee the greatest possible outcome, and Minnal Murali was a labor of love.”
The makers appear to want to build a superhero that people can identify to and connect with on an emotional level, based on the teaser. Though the action is at the heart of a superhero film, the focus is on a compelling story that can stand on its own.

When it first came out in theatres, it was a huge hit. The time-loop premise, while common in Hollywood films, was novel to Tamil audiences and was well received. It was a show that didn’t take itself too seriously.
The story revolves around a hero who has the ability to turn back time. He won’t be going back in time. He is just given the opportunity to repeat the same day until he gets it correctly. As it happens, he becomes entangled in a plot to assassinate the State’s Chief Minister. And he’ll be the one to blame. He’s a Muslim, by the way. In the background, a communal confrontation is also planned. All of their sinister plots must be thwarted by him. It’s an action-packed, adrenaline-pumping ride. This is an excellent movie to see during the holiday season.
Merry Christmas, and have a great day watching movies.
June, Ahmed Khabeer’s first film, was a charming coming-of-age story. The transformation of a group of high school students into young adults made both young and old people weak in the knees. The director made it everything authentic without being drab or dismal, despite the obvious arc.
The expectation is that Ahmed Khabeer will use the same creative approach to Madhuram, which is about the lives of several people who collide in a government hospital ward. According to the trailers, it appears to be a warm and fuzzy film.
Does the setting of a hospital, which is defined by its misery, lend itself to cute feelings? Ahmed Khabeer’s June experience may come in handy in this situation. One of the producers of this film is Joju George, who has established himself as one of Malayalam’s most dependable performers.
